barley water!

well girls izzy has a generally a clear bum but sometimes get awful burn like rash :( I have found something which is making a big difference barley water (boiled barley then strained off water) MIL suggested it and aside from her other ignored suggestions like rusk and top up formula :roll: :roll: :roll: this one i am actually with her so thanks MIL!

It does soemthing to dilute urine i think and so noticed the manky smell is gone in the morning from the night nappy too :shock: pass it on! :giggle:

:hohoho: they drink it yes suppose it would help if i explained eh! yes it looks odd and thought izzy wouldnt drink it but she likes it :shock:

cover the bottom of a pan with barley, fill up with cold water, simmer for 2 hours, strain water off. It smells malty :hohoho: but izzy likes it :-?

im not sure? sorry im just thinking what is in it that wouldn't agree with a tiny baby? i wonder if anyone else knows?
