Just following on from the wipes thread, just wondering really, those who don't use plain water what do you use, how often do you make it up and where do you store it?

I make up a solution of a cup of camomile tea with a splash of olive oil, a squidge of baby shampoo and sometimes a squirt of honey.

It's enough for 3 days of wipes.

Dixie drops (from clwt twt) or just baby bath with a splosh of almond or olive oil

I put it in an old disp wipes box and put the wipes in so they are ready to use. It usually lasts a few days.

either soap bits in a small squeezy bottle, of water in the squeezy bottle, then rub the wet wipe on soap

For those of you who use olive oil... or any kind of oil really

I've read on several nappy sites that you shouldn't put Tea Tree oil on nappies whilst in the bucket as this can coat the nappy and decrease absoption like conditioner. Doesnt the same happen with olive oil you put on the wipes? Or does the soap bit you add dissolve this enough?

I've never had a problem with it

I use dixie drops or sheepish grins bits dissolved in water in a spray bottle. Lasts 2-3 days!
