Help: Nappy Problem

Postby Stickybean » Sun Nov 20, 2011 1:01 am

Hi everyone,

I've been using Burt's Bees Diaper ointmint to soothe my DS's diaper rash but have found my nappies after use & wash, still have some left on the diaper. How do I get rid of these?

:(

I don't know how to get rid of it, but in future you could use liners (either fleece or paper) to stop it getting on the nappies.

I've heard people rave about Waitrose Bottom Butter, which apparently won't stain or build up on your nappies.

Sorry that doesn't really answer your question!

Try hand scrubbing then with a tiny but of washing up liquid, then repeatedly rinse in machine till no bubbles are present. Hth

What both of the above said. I'm afriad it is a pretty laborious task.
Waitrose bum butter is fab ans I've never had a problem bit I don't use it that often.
Note even with liners they will get a build up too and could end up water resistant. So you would need to strip them too. Some creams just don't work will with cloth.
