@littlesez - hey hon, just wondered how you were doing on the healthy eating/food and mood score?

I thought of you today as I've been taking extra care of my diet over the last few weeks as I'm trying to normalise my blood sugars before baby is born to (hopefully!) give him the best chance of avoiding sugar fluctuations when he's born. However, yesterday and today I've had a bit of a pig out - chinese last night, McD's today ( ), and I've just sat down and eaten half a bag of sweets! I have to be fair, it's really surprised me - I feel like absolute $h1t! I'm so shocked - I must've been feeling this way before when I didn't pay any attention to what I put into my body, but I must've felt like it all the time and didn't realise as it was all I knew. Now I've had control over my body, I've noticed the difference immediately when I've eaten the rubbish. I guess I'd never really taken the food/mood link too seriously until now, but this has given me a complete wake up call. I remembered this thread then, and thought I'd post!

Will have to cope with the jitters (from the sugar) and feeling rubbish for the rest of the day today I guess, but will try to drink plenty of water to flush things through a little. Plenty of veg for tea, and back to my usual healthy eating.

I have cut out stodge like white bread we have been eating stuff like baked potatoes amnd rice instead. If anything it helps you not to feel sluggish. Robs on a diet at the mo so we are a super healthy house :D

That's great to hear! I wondered how the anti-D's were going, but wasn't sure if you wanted it mentioned on this forum. :D

I think that white bread has been half of my problem - I had some on Saturday evening, and my resolve to eat healthily really lapsed yesterday. I was craving everything and anything 'naughty'! I had takeaway last night then, and of course that's caused it to continue to today (and resulted in a McDonald's!). I've just got to be strong, ignore the cravings and eat healthily and they'll die back down instead of catching me in this vicious cycle!
