Best washable wipes?

Postby jscobie » Mon Jun 13, 2011 1:17 pm

Hi,
I'm just wondering what everyone's favourite washable wipes are. I used WNs double sided wipes with DS and DD...velour one side and bamboo towelling the other. I have bought some single sided WNs wipes this time around but wondered what others use.

Also looking at wipes solutions from Monkey Butt Designs on HC and Ewe Need It...probably wouldn't use these to begin with but I just love having nice smelling stuff. :D

I just cut up bits of fleece and use them.....cost me nothing and they come out the washing machine virtually dry.

We use the value wipes from Babykind (fleece/terrycloth) for bottom and Nappies by Minki wipes (because they are colourful!) for hands/face.

i have a few different ones but love my little baby bug Minky/bamboo terries ones. I don't think their website is live yet but you can find them on facebook. They are super soft and do their job well.

I've got a selection of wipes - naturebabies fleece/terry, softbots bamboo, itti bitti & plain cut up fleece.
Having something like terry is really good for those sticky poops :giggle:
But the fleece is really good for just wee's & when they have a sore bottom.

Love the colours of my itti bitti wipes!
I've got some OBV ones on the way!

Cotton sherpa/OBV (or knit print)...was recommended sherpa by another mama and have been using it for a while now, works great and stays soft when not tumbled (unlike terry which ends up going a bit hard!)

I haven't bought wipes for a long time (I generally get one or two free with each custom WAHM nappy order) but love my Litle Gumnut, Dunk n Fluff and Holdens Landing wipes. Ewe Need It wipes solution is lovely, I wil definitely be ordering more of it when bump is a bit bigger (I only use water to start with). I only really use ENI products for the children (bum butter, bubble bath, lanolin etc).
