I was thinking cold rinse, wash at 60 for the first 3 months with an extra rinse afterwards.

We have a LG 11 kg machine that I didn't use for nappies yet so if anyone can recommend the best way please ;)

I'm doubting about the washing powder, here good stories about using Potion but if it doesn't work I always have Ariel nearby ;)

@MissFrodo Esther I have exactly the same washing machine as you. I wash nappies on the skin care cycle, sometimes on 40, sometimes 60, with a prewash, medic rinse and intensive. I'm washing Joseh's toddler nappies too so might not wash quite so intensively if it was just Eliana's bf nappies.

Are you asking me or Kelly?

I used to rinse them in the machine before washing.

Just asking everyone @MissFrodo :) I have been rinsing them before putting in machine. Well my mother has , I have mainly been sitting feeding Rafferty. How does everyone get everything done in a day??

I would rinse really yuckky poos off in the sink (again use cold so it doesn't set the smells) before popping in the bucket and then I would rinse it all in the machine. As for getting everything done I also had a helpful mum that came to France to help with both boys :giggle: It does get easier  how old is he now?
