Anyone else use an ecoegg?
Do you add anything extra for washing your cloth?

I looked into them but didn't find anything greatly positive in reviews I read so didn't bother.

Tried them a few years ago. I found them ok for some things, however I was dubious as to whether they were any different to just putting water in...
Also, I had to strip the machine down after one exploded :(

I've found soap nuts to be really good though. I add a couple of drops of tea tree oil for peace of mind

I use it for clothes, they come out smelling lovely! Its an unscented one but its just that lovely clean and fresh smell. And they certainly clean the clothes really well.

I was using it on the nappies and it worked great to start with. I loved not having to worry about using too much detergent. But then EJ had diarrhea for a month and it might have just been paranoia but I thought the nappies were still coming out smelling slightly of poo. Like I said it might just have been paranoia, or the smell might have got stuck up my nose after having to deal with so much poo! :giggle:
