Pre-loved bamboozles reek!

I bought 3 preloved bamboozles and they stiiiiink! They're fine when dry but as soon as DS wees it smells like the stairwell of a multistorey carpark The smell of wee is toooo much! Yikes. I have already strip washed them, but looking for any other tips?

I know hanging nappies in the rain can soften them but im sure i read somewhere it may also strip smells too. (I could have been dreaming though as i am suffering from lack of sleep )

If the strip wash hasn't worked I'd try a bucket with some water and white vinegar as white vinegar is really good at getting smells out. How did you do the strip wash?

Strip wash I did a rinse, then 60 degree with extra water and full dose detergent, then 60 degree extra water no detergent, then 2 rinses.

For stripping when its not PUL i use vinegar or soda
And no detergent

Hello again I have bought a big bottle of vinegar and googled some vinegar strip wash methods Oddly excited! Would you do a bucket of vinegar & soak over night, then rinse and spin in the machine? Seen other methods that are all done in the machine with vinegar instead of detergent.

I usually just do it in the machine: no detergent only vinegar, and its good for the machine too

but if its really bad, then you could let them soake in it over night, then wash on warm with no detergent. Its most likely build up detergent thats causing the stink, so don't wanna ad more to them

Vinegar soak followed by vinegar machine wash worked a treat!
