Newborn Poo

Hi All,

I didn't use cloth on Zach as a newborn but was wondering what people do with newborn poo on nappies?

Most of it is pretty stuck on and spread out so I'm inclined to just stick it in the washer!!! Do you try and get it off first?

We haven't got a shower hose close to the toilet to spray down and holding in the flush scares the hell out of me

I would just stick them in the wash. It's what I did with Katie's non-newborn poo if it escaped the flushable liners.

I'd just put them in the wash, I never rinsed Harriets newborn nappies

I haven't rinsed any of mine, just put them in the wash and not had any problems...

All of Ben's just got thrown in the washing machine

We just stuck them in the machine and did a cold rinse before the wash

All of Bella's pre-weaning nappies just got chucked in the washing machine without sluicing first. There is still a large amount of poop going into the washer atm, as the poop just doesn't want to come off (YUCK)

Katie's all went straight in the machine too.
