does anyone use soap nuts?

i have finally ordered some soap nuts and am hoping to us ethem on teh clotthes and nappies but not sure if you have to remove them from the machine before you do a rinse any ideas pleas thanks

I use soapnuts and just leave them in for the whole cycle. Have never noticed a build up on my nappies or any adverse effects on baby.

i recently bought soap nuts but one got loose and left stains on my nappies!!!!!!!!!

i havealso used them for a few weeks and suddenly my lo has been leaking through nappies so bad i have now stopped using them strip washed all my nappies and have gone back to my old washing method no more leaks?
