Want to strip nappies, but have a dodgy machine

I'm going to strip all my nappies using soda crystals, but I have an Indesit moon washer. It has no glass door, so I can't see what's going on. It has no boil wash, the highest is a 60 degree. It's also supposedly an intelligent machine that washes and washes until all detergent residue has gone, but I'm dubious about that claim.

What do you recommend I do? Should I just do a 60 wash and then guess at how many rinses (well, 30 degree cycles with no detergent, as it doesn't have an extra rinse function) to give it?

I only ever have to do 2 extra rinses with my machine. I do my strip washes at 60. You could do your normal strip wash and then another 1 or 2 cool washes rather than just rinses??

I think that will be fine. You should only need a couple of extra washes I should think.

In the end I did a 30 degree rinse, then a 60 degree wash with soda followed by 2 more 60 degree washes as rinses (if that makes sense). Seems to have worked.

Glad it seems to have worked, stinky nappies are the worst!!!
