Help - smelly nappies

Hi, I really hope someone can help me with this, I forgot that I had dirty nappies in the nappy bucket upstairs for about four days. By the time I remembered they were I rinsed them twice then washed at 60, then rinsed again, then line dried for 24 hours, then washed again at 30, they still smell . Does anyone have any magic suggestions, dh wants to throw them out - I said I would if I could buy more sadly he was not enthusiastic about this suggestion! I would be so disapointed to throw them out, but I can't use them like this, Help? x

I'm not an expert but you could try washing them with soda crystals, i sometimes add a sprinkle of bicard of soda which is good for smells.

i was going to suggest soda crystals too. but also not an expert. What about some essential oil too.
Would soaking help? no idea as quite new to these things!

i would give them a good long soak in the nappy bucket with an antibacterial nappy cleanser overnight. then wash and extra rinse (with a few drops of tea tree oil)as normal.
