Will calgon damage my nappies?

Postby fivefourfour » Sun Dec 13, 2009 10:55 am

I live in Kent, which is a hard water area, and usually use calgon tablets in my machine. For the past 10 months, I haven't used the calgon in with our nappies, in case this damages them, but I would like to if I can, as I am concious of prolonging the life of my washing machine!!!

Are there any ingredients in the calgon tablets that would damage my nappies? We use WNNN, TB fluffles, WNAI2s, Close pop-ins and Ittis.

Thanks. x

I'm not too sure either but if you are unsure could you just use the calgon with you normal clothes washes and not with you nappies??
