How often to wash nappies?

im glad to see there's other people who wash every 5 days, i think once it was 6 we use pockets & prefolds mainly, oh and washable wipes.

I wash every 3 days normally, or if hes had bad poos then sooner! This means normally around 15 nappies & matching boosters / inserts. Dont use washable wipes , or liners , or pul wraps so its literally just the nappies and boosters/inserts. I have a 6kg drum and do a cold rinse , 60 wash with extra water ( 'superwash' ) , rinse and then spin (or double spin in winter when drying indoors )

As and when i have a full load to wash - so for me that was usually every 3 days.

My new (2nd hand) machine that has just broken down had a smaller drum so it was every other day.

Atm i am having to take them to the local laundrette until my new machine arrives, they have a very large capacity machine, and i can do it every 4 days!

Every 3 days here. Have a Bambino Mio bucket which holds about 15 nappies and usually wears about 5 a day. I wash at 60' and then rinse twice - although the rinse before wash sounds like a good idea.

I wash every 3 days too. I do a pre-wash, alternate between 40 & 60 mainwash & extra rinse.

I wash every other day. Mainly because with 2 in cloth, the bucket is full after 2 days!
