Non-Bio v Bio

We changed from Persil non-bio to Ariel bio and have much better results, nappies are clean and fresh and haven't had to strip since I've been using it. I was reluctant to go down the bio route as I'd tried Bold before and that had made me itch and given Isaiah a red bum, but I know think that's probably more to do with high levels of perfumes in Bold.

I also find it keeps the clothes soft, I don't use softener anymore, just 1/2 tablet of ariel. A box lasts me ages!!

My clothes are also much cleaner so it's better at removing stains all round and saves me having to do multiple washes to get things clean.

We always used Persil small & mighty non bio, half or even less of the recommended amount, and washed at 60. I very rarely (every few months if that) had to do a strip wash, then I would use half a measure of bio (which we use for our clothes) and 60 again, and white wine vinegar in the fabric conditioner drawer.
