Whitening inserts?

Postby lisi » Fri Sep 24, 2010 11:38 am

Hiya - have bought some pre-loved nappies and wonder if there is any way I can brighten/whiten some Itti bitti inserts that are a bit grey/yellowed?

I have sunned them once but I think they need a more immediate treatment?!

Thanks, Lis

you could try some vanish and a full dose of biological powder on a hot wash, just remember an extra rinse to get out the detergent. Otherwise i don't think they will ever be totally white, they are bamboo aren't they? Which is always slightly yellow. And no one will see them

I chucked a load of mine in milton - they had all discoloured from the amount of calpol that lockie needed. They came out lovley and it doesnt seem to have done them any damage!

Do you think I could do this with microfibre, or would they dissolve?!
