I dyed my nappies pink.oops!

Postby Refoca » Sun Nov 07, 2010 12:10 pm

It happned a while ago, so the dye is well set in now...but I think it's about time to get my boy back in white nappies!

Any tips? What do I use to bleach them?

Also, I am considering stripping some nappies as some smell and others are stained, and a few boosters just don't absorb anything...is there a one-strip-fits-all solution or do I need to do something different to each? Looking for a low effort solution ideally, but if the only way is long winded, I#ll just have to find the time...

TIA :-)

I wouldn't recommend bleaching them as you could damage the fibres, BUT you could use a sachet of dylon machine dye and dye them blue instead :)

Have a look at the stickies for stripping nappies... Boosters and anppies alike can all be stripped the same way, the best way I've found is a full wash using a full dose (heavy soil dose) of Ariel Bio and then rinse rinse rinse until the bubbles are gone :)
