if your machine is a newer one it may automatically adjust to the size of the load, our Bosch does.

That's great. I'm trying to be economical with washing as only wash the clothes twice a week only 3 of us in the house at the mo. I think I'll have around 30 newborn nappies, which should do one full wash, althouh would rather it staggered so I could wash my clothes and a few nappies.

Only problem now is that I use the bold liquid tabs. Will these be ok?

I wash wee ones with clothes but not poo ones lol, i'm just too scared!

I only ever use a bit of detergent - they just put higher amounts on the box so you use it quicker and buy more lol you don't need much no matter what it is clothes, nappies etc

if you want 'softener' you can use a lil white vinegar every now and again

No not really. Liquid tends to leave a build up of residue on nappies & inserts and is also very bad for your washing machine. Bold 2 in 1 powder is great for nappies. The softner is clay based so good to use on nappies. DO NOT use the Bold Infusions though, just the older ones and remember you only use a 1/4 of the recommended dose for your type of water (hard or soft) on nappies

Guess I should hurry up and get rid of my liquid tabs then. :(
