Can I wash tuttos with inserts snapped in?

Postby Siddy+bump » Tue Aug 16, 2011 8:57 pm

Or do I need to unpopper them for every wash? Has anyone tried washing with them poppered together?
Also is it ok to hang them on a radiator rack over a hot rad on cold wet winter days instead of using a tumble dryer?
Thanks x

I think most people wash them with them still poppered in (i do), also they would be fine on a rack, probably not best to put the outer directly on hot radiator tho as i don't think the PUL will like it.

HTH

I don't bother unpopping them or anything else. Just bung it all in lol

I'd never thought of washing them poppeted together. I've always undone all mine before washing.

What do you do when you peg them out side on the line? Do you keep them still together or unpopper them to make it easier to peg up?

I spend a lot of time unpoppering & poppering :giggle:

I unpopper them to hang out.
I put soiled nappies in a wet bag and put the hole thing in the machine. Not going to take them out one by one, unpop/remove inserts etc. Just chuck it in.
It always comes out clean!
