Postby Bessandra » Thu Dec 22, 2011 5:18 pm

Hi
I've inherited some stuffable nappies - basically good condition but a bit grey, as are the inserts, any tips for making them sparkle please?

if you cant get them to sparkle, why not dye them instead to brighten them up

If you want them all the same colour, you could use a Dylon machine dye. Or if you want a bit of fun and to do different colours you could use dylon hand dye. I've used both and they both work well.

If you want to try whitening I'd use bio put on to wash and then pause the program for about 12 hours.
If that doesn't work the inserts could be soaked in a bucket of Milton solution but that is a mild bleach so....

Kimmy - pause the programme at what point? Any point? Halfway?
Milton - only the inserts? Not the nappies?

Queen bee - maybe ill try it with one or two and see how that goes?
Thank you thank you!
