Bio or non?

Postby Bessandra » Wed Jan 18, 2012 3:28 pm

Ohhh, I've just read something which made me think I should be using bio for the nappy wash, and not the non bio that I have been using...
What to do?
:-?

Bio is best :D
ETA powder is best also as liquid is bad for machine and can cause build up on nappies x

^ WSS. Non bio just doesn't seem to get them clean enough.

Oh no, really? Oopsy.
I thought I was being so good using non bio (used it for yrs now) - it goes against the grain to buy bio - ah well, if that's what I need to do then I will!
Thank you both very much - any tips for brands?

Ps Kirsty - thank you. I never use liquid - always use powder/tablets :) x

i used to think non-bio was essential for baby skin and sensitive eczema skin like mine but now I'm sold on bio! It gets things so much cleaner which is better for sensitive skin. i do an extra rinse on everything though. I also second bold 2 in 1. It's the only conditioner that's ok for cloth. Don't use the bold with Lenor though as that conditioner isn't clay based.

I use persil. Apparently the sensitive skin/bio thing is a myth and there's no evidence to back it up... just do an extra rinse and you should be fine.

I use Ariel powder. But any bio should do the job really!
