more luxury camping questions

Postby Emma S » Fri Apr 02, 2010 10:15 am

things are coming along and we are getting ready to put in planning requests and funding requsts

Just an opinion here
For down in the far woods, the more rustic option, whre initially it will be basic and 'bring your own' would you prefer to stay in a clearing in this tent
http://soulpad.co.uk/sanctuary/componen ... /Itemid,1/

or this
http://www.worldtents.co.uk/tipis/tipis.htm

both will have ground sheets and fire pits

I know my prefrence, but.....

I much prefer the proper Tipis, and think you would get more bookings for those because they look so authentic!

So, second link for me.

Probably the tipis, just based on the extra height room because of the shape and angle of it's sides. I think there is very good reason they are shaped as they are.

My friend had just bought a bell tent, it's lovely from pics I've seen, I really think they are what you make them, I personally prefer the look of the bell tent than the tipis, but it seems I'm in the minority ;)

I'd be happy to stay in either, but would prefer a tipi.

if all goes to plan there will be furnished tipis, yurts and bell tents up in the main bit of the site, all in their own sections and all pretty secluded. These ones are for the more adventurous souls in the far woods
