Hi guys! I live in Surrey and expect a lo at the end of June. I am totally new to the real nappy world although I have a big stash of nappies picked up at a good discount. So, I have already done everything wrong (no trials, just plunge in head first) ! Look forward to get wiser with your help.

Don't worry about having already stocked up with no trials, I did the same, my stash basis was bamboozles right the way through. I added a few fancy ones 'just cos' and a few night nappies later on, but the basics did us well throughout, I'm sure you'll be fine

I got 20 pocket one-size canadian Baby Kangas that seems to be very low profile in the UK. All with BG microfibre one size inserts and a few (12) BG microfiber doublers. Nothing else yet, so will be looking for advice on liners/boosters/buckets/wet bags/pailers/washing powders and general handholding when I cry my eyes out "cos it does not work!!"

I am also terribly excited!
