Hiya

Postby Sandytoes » Mon Feb 25, 2013 1:33 am

Hi I'm Michelle, mum to my six month old daughter Alexys. We've had a bit of a whirlwind introduction to each other. Four weeks after she was born we were on a plane to the Caribbean, with suitcases laden with fluffy nappies and nearly everything else it seems in storage in the UK. So we and her massive nappy wardrobe are finally getting around to enjoying our surroundings for the time we are here.

I am a first time mother so I am enjoying and enduring the learning curve, and I am so excited to be joining this online community. :yahoo:

Hi Michelle and welcome to the tree  all my babies are out of nappies now but we're hopeful for another bundle soon.

Thanks  It is lovely here, warm but not that oppressive heat at the moment. I have had a bit of snow envy but I'm getting spoilt with blue skies :)

Hi Michelle welcome to the tree! Where abouts are you, on one of the islands?

I totally agree with the others, I had a baby in the south of France and subtropical Queensland and cloth was great, much cooler than disposibles which actually gave Louis massive heat rash the time or two I used them when it was hot, cloth is a far more breathable option!
