Hello to all
I'm new here. Am 39 weeks pregnant with my first baby and am now just waiting to meet him. I can't remember when I first found out about cloth nappies. Until recently I had always thought they were something to do with smelly brownish bits of towelling in a bucket. I realise that is no longer the case now and am hoping to use (mostly at least) cloth from the start. For one thing, I was never very comfortable with creating that amount of rubbish each day. For another - I realise that cloth nappies have moved on somewhat from the days my mum remembers. They are an attractive option. Actually, I sense they may be potentially too attractive..... Hope I don't get too addicted.
Pretty sure I'll be back soon for advice.
For now,
Glad to be here.
PS - not sure if I'm allowed to ask this as it is not a question about nappies. But have been on a few 'mum's sites' and am completley confused by all of the abbreviations - eg. DH. Can anyone suggest a link to a site where I can crack the code?
