Hi all new here

Hi everyone

Just joined up.Currently Preg with number 2 25 weeks along and want to try cloth. Have been given some prefolds and wraps but really wanting to try pockets as have brought a few and like the look of them.Also hoping to attempt to try and make my own eek!!
Any tips and advice on where to start and whats best to start with gratefully accepted.

Pockets are great once your baby's weaned, but your probably best to stick to 2 part systems until then - they're better at containing explosions!

Hi Bex and welcome to the tree. I made the switch to pockets at around 6 months but I did use some successfully earlier, as long as the fit is right most will contain even BF poo. Like a lot on here I always had a bit of a mix of nappy types and used different ones at different times of day (ie I always put a tots bots or other fitted with a motherease wrap and a paper liner on as his first nappy as he always did a huuuuuge poo at around 9am ). Then I could go to pockets or whatever I fancied!
