Newbie mum to 2 boys in cloth

Postby hollilyric » Sat Nov 27, 2010 9:42 pm

Hi everyone,
My name is Holly and I'm a 28 year old high school English teacher (part time) and mum to Leo (2 and a quarter) and Milo (8 months). I use Easy Peasy Bumbles and Motherease rikki wraps and am currently potty training Leo. We are on day 3 and only 1 accident each day so far and plenty of wees in the potty/toilet so I'm really pleased with how it is going. My son is the only cloth nappy user at nursery and this will be doubled when my youngest starts in December! I am registered disabled as I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and am having 4 more operations this year to try and help with serious arthritis in both knees. I am currently waiting for a funky lightweight wheelchair! I love cooking/baking and am a horror film/ book junkie.

Holly

Thank you so much guys. I only found this site whilst looking at potty training stuff online and it's fab! I am struggling to get out much at the moment and so it's nice to find a forum of fellow minded mums. So many people thought we were ridiculous using cloth nappies the first time and even more so when baby number 2 came along but we have found it really easy. Any potty training advice gratefully received!
