We use fitted nappies and wool covers at night which are amazing. We too used to do dispicables at night and even though Abigail gets sore if left in a nappy too long in the day she can go 12 hours in one at night without getting sore! Strange! I would definitely recommend trying wool at night as it is so reliable. And if you knit yourself it won't cost the earth
