Hi guys,
I wish I'd found this forum sooner. What a brilliant place! I'm keen on knitting longies & shorties, although most of my cloth stash is AIO or AI2 any way. I just love the look of wool. So cute!
My son is 11 months old - I can't believe is has tripped by so quickly. I was looking at his baby photos this morning & gushing. We're still breastfeeding strongly & he's on solids... when he wants them. We don't 'do' purees, but he does love yogurt, plums, and linguine. What a mix! He keeps me very busy, so my crafting doesn't get much time devoted to it.
I'm a novice knitter. I started in the final weeks of pregnancy. It was luck Jack was a bit late, or his blanket wouldn't have been finished on time. I've done some fairly unattractive baby clothes (possibly the worlds ugliest sock), a couple of cute toys, Jack's blanket, and a couple of scarves. I'm about to undertake an awesome cot blanket for a friend's baby. I have until August.. better get started!
And everything else:
I am married, I was a geologist of 5 years before resigning to a life of motherhood, I own 2 horses but neither are broken in, and one day, we'll move back to Tasmania to live on a farm.
Chat soon, when I'm not running after Jack.
