I have discovered the joy of the mei tai sling- all the virtues of a wrap (comfy & versatile) but really quick to put on- and cooler than a wrap in the heat too. I vacuumed the whole house with 6 month DS asleep in it... but yeah, I just had to learn to ignore the piles of stuff that were building up while DS was new, for about 6 months, in fact... just starting to catch up now- but parenthood seems to teach you to be less uptight about housework as baby HAS to be number one priority! It's only stuff.... but it took a while for me to accept that. Now I just kick the piles out of the way!
