My name's Steph, and I live in a little terraced house in Bristol with my beloved OH Rich, and The Glorious Baby Cyrus- and two pussy cats, one of whom had his nose put out of joint when Cyrus came into the world (on a futon in the living room) and another puss who lets him pull her ears with classic resignation.
Cyrus has been in cloth for 4 months (was too scared & disorganised at first, but damn glad I made myself do it

and we have never looked back. We made a conscious decision to practice attachment/natural parenting as much as possible, and it's very easy and intuitive. Using real nappies fits so well with it, and it's all working out to be suspiciously easy ( as long as I can relax about failing to keep the house tidy! Provided I can keep up with the nappies and washing up it's fine...)
Only problem is nappy rash- doesn't seem to bother him, but his poor little red nads!

Best be off- computer has announced that I am now running on reserve battery power. Oops. Must go to bed.
Thanks mods etc for providing such a brilliant resource.
Right, I'm off.
