Sleeping 12 hours shouldn't cause problems, it is just a case of finding what works best for you. Baby behinds worked really well for us with only minimal boosting. Hope you get on well with the soakers, there are some yummy lanolin sents out there as well x

Hi again everyone

I just wanted to do a wee update. Thing are going well, mostly. I had a bad couple of days last week (it was that time of the month!) where I felt like giving up but I got loads of good advice in another thread and I feel much better now. I tried wool but it didn't work out (my boy seems to be allergic), and I tried night nappies but decided it was too much all at once so I'm concentrating on mastering day cloth for the time being.

Huge thanks to jclmellor for the reusable wipes tip. I have my own system in place now after ordering two boxes with pop up lids from eBay and making my own solution. I'm saving a fortune and feeling good about it!

Unfortunately I'm also spending a fortune on new nappies. I honestly didn't think I'd be seduced by pretty nappies but I seem to have been bitten by the cloth bug! It's almost addictive!

Thanks again everyone for making me feel so welcome :-)

Coco x
