Chickens.

We are thinking about getting some chicks, some battery ladies, probably 2 to 3.

I have been looking at coops, runs and everything by the kitchen sink.
The OHs dad is good at building stuff and Im handy with a drill and can make a blue print, so I thought we could maybe build a house and run for the ladies.
But then I saw this;

Its a good price, looks like they will be able to have a roam around and is generally really good IMO.
Aslong as my girls would be safe, then I would be happy with this, I do have a budget but the hens would come come before anything.

Do you think this will be ok for couple of chicks? It will go on slabbed flooring, so the foxes shouldnt be able to get in, should they?

Any advice or maybe if anyone knows of a better coop for around the same price?

I think thats really cheap for a hen house Felt roof is not ideal but at that price you can replace it yourself with onduline (you can get a problem with mite build up under felt rooF)
