You can get lots of GN wool. Or ask a WAM to custom dye some. ;) It's well worth getting into wool early, I think. It's very breathable and I think really helped Iris to feel dryer at night once we switched (when she was - had to check this on old posts :giggle: 3 and a half months).

I would try to pick up some pre-loved wool if I was you - the smaller sizes won't have been worn much but will save you on new, and have the added advantage of already being well lanolised so should be reliable straight away  :D

HI there I am def one of the least experienced clothies. But I used terries/little lambs for newborn. Few ittis too. Ialso like blueberry nappies. Wrap wise i have only just started with wool but switching as i am not that impressed with wraps. The only one i really like is tots bots and little lamb but most people seem to like motherease and weenotions

your stash sounds good to me i think you have had some good deals for £115. Its a lot t pay out but you would spend that aafter a couple of months in sposies. I save extra money by using washable wipes too

I have washable wipes too.

my Bumbles & Eco bumbles arrived from Easypeasy today they're fab and soft i got washable wipes from them too - £1.75 for 10 looks like they're made from the remnants of the nappy material but they're lush either way.
Both Bumbles are a BTP nappy and shrink down really well into the smaller size. I also brought some hemp boosters for the Eco ones they were 5 for £10 i'm really impressed with the feel of them (obviously they're all yet to be washed)

Also my first classifieds arrived - so i have my bamboozles, diddy diaper(freebie), MEOS, boosters and wraps (one was a freebie) all in fab condition and really pleased with them.

i'm itching to try them out now but i still have a wait ahead of me. showed hubby how to fasten and adjust them. the motherease look huge i can understand why people do sizes ones first. but i think after the size ones the BTP ones will be fine for the duration.

I have two more lots to collect from the post office which i missed tonight, which is really annoying, so will collect in the morning. then i am expecting a lge ME wrap so i can loan SIL some of my preloved stash.

How exciting, lots of fluffy post. I hope you can cope with the wait until you use them - perhaps you could practice on a teddy bear

Sounds like a great first stash, I had loads of fun collecting my newborn stash. The best nappies that I've found in the early weeks are little lambs bamboo and smally sandies :)

Sounds like you are having a lot of fun and have a nice stash building.

I really liked the teeny tiny bimbles (size 0) on Zach and XS sandies in the early days. Also, we had XS wraps which I'm glad we did. My friend borrowed then actually before I had Imogen as she was having problems with leaks with small wraps and they really helped. Imogen was 7lb 10oz born and grew fast but I'm still glad I had some teeny tiny nappies.

Now I do have lots of funky nappies but I also really like the size 1 tots bots (had then dip dyed by Hanna at flutterby fluff).

I have to say that pocket wise I've really liked fuzzis and blueberrys. I have 2 coolababys on order to try out.

I'm searching the Pocket/AIO classifieds now for a few bargains to try out - most of my stash are BTP and shaped so i'm keeping my options open. Hubby is convinced we'll use sposies when we're out and about.

so if i can get some easy AIO/pockets then i'll shove them in my changing bag instead of shaped. it seems more practical to do that than to invest in sposies (if they're about they're either going to get used or grown out of - don't want either to happen) :giggle:
