We live in Brisbane Australia and my lo's never had a problem with being to hot.

WTAS. Research has shown that a baby's bottom is a few degrees cooler in cloth than in a disp!

It never occurred to me personally, but I suppose I can sort of see why someone might ask that, seeing a big padded cloth bottom - but hasn't there been some study/reports in recent years claiming that baby boys can get overheated in disposables, affecting their sperm count when they're adults...I'm sure I remember reading something like that in the papers a few years ago.

Nope not too hot and we use PUL nappies too.
