Q about flushable liners

Postby Mum2aMiracle » Thu Jan 31, 2013 11:06 am

Will flushable liners help stop meconium stains? (and normal poo stains) or am I better off using fleece liners. can you use a fleece liner on top of an already stay dry lined nappy?

Flushable liners are useless for nb boo as it is so runny it just goes through the liner (plus they aren't particularly nice against babies skin as they aren't stay dry or as soft as fleece.) Meconium doesn't stain at all, many people think it will but it doesn't. Bf poo stains are worse but can easily be removed by sunlight (either hanging outside or on/near a windowsill in the winter) I wouldn't bother using a fleece liner on top of a stay dry layer personally.
