Just seen that this was quite a while ago, but they don't appear to be on the tesco website anymore :(

I've always wondered why these top profile stores seem to stock not so-top nappy styles. I was so surprised when I looked online! Another world!! I do wonder how many people have been put off by the bigger stores. Maybe not enough profit in it for them vs someone always buying disposables? (cynical i know :giggle:)

@Dora I don't think you are being cynical at all - you have hit the nail on the head! All you have to do is look at my cost comparison article to see the huge amount of money that cloth nappies loose the supermarkets! Here's a link if you haven't read it!
https://www.clothnappytree.com/info.php?article=6

Can you imagine if everyone started using cloth (again) or only used disposables part time that would equate to an enormous loss of profits for so many big companies from the manufacturers of the nappies right down to the supermarkets. If you look just at the 1152 babies that are on our ticker figures they have saved 7.3 million nappies which would have given the disposable nappy makers 1.4 million pounds of sales - scary amount of money for relatively few babies really! Imagine if this was extrapolated over every baby in the UK  the dispo' makers and sellers would not be happy campers!!

so not just me then!! :giggle: yes!-I read that article when first starting out-i have bought more expensive examples of bespoke wahm nappies but then sold them so your figures are still pretty accurate. I had a bit of shock when my friend mentioned recently the cost of pull-ups for nappy training. Havent reached that point yet but i'm going to have a good look around  x
