Buying nappies from the states?

Postby twirlygirly » Fri May 17, 2013 2:15 pm

So my mum and brother are heading to the states next week. Any nappies you can recommend that are hard to come by or much more expensive in the uk?
I still haven't found a nappy I like yet.
Some friends on Instagram use apple cheeks and sun baby which certainly look lovely.
DS is a chunk with chunky thighs and is a heavy wetter. He's 3 months old now.

Thanks x

Which nappies have you tried and not liked? That might help with recommendations

Bottom bumpers are awsome. Theybfit my super skinny 3month old and my super chunky toddler. Toddler needs a booster but heav wetting baby is fine. Plus they contain bf poo surprisingly well for a one size pocket.

Thanks for the suggestions.
epsilon, the nappies I liked the most were the swaddlebee simplex newborn and tots bots teeny fit.
I've actually found a shop really near to where my mum is going to be staying that stocks Swaddlebee simplex so I think I'm going to ask her to get me some of them!

gilbertandmartha, have you tried the side fastening ones? Are they as good?

i've got the sized ones which are the side snapping ones, and the one sized which are front snapping.

I honestly can't decide which I like more, the only negative I have with the side snapping is that the material that the side bits are made of can wick quite badly, but strangely it hasn't happened with lola for a long while now. But I don't use the side snapping for her long nap just in case. But the side snapping ones are so slim!
they can easily last 3 or 4 hours or so.

Also another one I really like is the grovia AIO - similar concept and probably the slimest AIO I have ever owned. I haven't fully tested it out on a big 4 hour stretch because she keeps pooping in it.
