How many

Last time around I have 2 in cloth so have never had to buy for just one baby before. How many nappies would you suggest I have? Also Im going to use a large wet bag for storage of dirties, how many will it need to hold between washes? Its been so long I have forgotten!

I can t remember either, I have gathered nappies every baby so I had quite a few this time
Do you mean from birth?
It depends on how often you are likely to want to wash your nappies and what kind of nappies as some take up less room than others. I had a nappy bucket and a wet bag (one upstairs and one down). I washed every other day ... That seemed to be when the bucket was full too.
Newborns can go through so many nappies in a day and then the same at night.

I had 25 aio/ fitteds and then loads of prefolds and terry squares.

Yup it will be from birth and I expect I shall wash every other day.

I think I had about 25/30. That was washing every other day, but I did tumble dry them sometimes to get them dry as it was winter.

I think for newborn I had about 30/35 and will do the same this time. I had a mix of lots of different fitteds mainly, plus a few pockets and AIO's intend to do the same but with some flats as well to pad out the collection! When are you due @InkMinx

Im due on the 23rd of May.

I ordered a load of nappies the other day to start stocking up. I already have about 5/6 fluffles that are in good condition from before.
Ive ordered 13 x bamboozles
6 x minky pockets from a member on here
6 x wee notions pockets
3 x different wraps
2 x other pockets
home crocheted longies and soakers

Also ordered a bunch of sundry bits like a large wet bag, bamboo prefolds to use as inserts.

May have to try some other nappies too, open to suggestions
