has been my first ever week of using disposables with the little girl to coincide with out and about all week with O's first week of nursery. It was a brief experiment for the child care arrangements.

This week disposables have let me down 5 times-complete change of clothing required, top and bottom. urghh. so basically catastrophic failure every day :(

back to reusables I go. they never let me down and they're so gorgeous  xx

That is awesome

I remember with Josh (I used dispos with him :x :x didn't know about the wonderful world of cloth) having to regularly do full clothes changes and the enourmous poo'namis up his back, into his hair etc! Never had that with Louis

:giggle: yes-right up the back! even over car seat :puke: -it's been the worst. At least I only bought the single pack :giggle: not sure if reusables really impact washing all that much if, when using disposable, all clothes, even socks, have to be changed?

I was discussing epic poonamis with a friend the other night (as you do), and it made me laugh how she described it.

They teach you how to change a nappy on your new baby in hospital and how to wipe from front to back, but they never tell you how to deal with the poo up the back or in the hair!

I used disposables for the first 7 weeks and hope I never have to go back to them
The amount of times I had to strip her down and do full flannel down and outfit change was ridiculous... Sometimes several times in one day, and if she pooed first thing on waking (or even whilst still asleep) as often happened I would have to strip the bed down too!
