Cloth pull up nappies for older children

Ed is 3.5 now and is showing no signs of training. He can out pee disposables and normal cloth nappies are too small for him.

I'm looking for some larger nappies, preferably pull up style, that will hold lots of wee. Does anyone know of any? I haven't got a huge budget either so the cheaper the better.

Have a look on classifieds for Minki Yoyo nappies (and maybe google them to see if any sights have a few left). They have recently stopped making them but I've heard they are fab and can be stuffed with extra such as hemp which it sounds like your LO needs as super absorbent.

Minki Yoyo's would always be my recommendation for older kids too but as Dancing mum said they have stopped You sometimes see them in classifieds so worth looking out for

I may have a go at making some yoyo style pants as they look pretty easier. I've made a couple of nappies so hopefully I'd manage this.

Thats a good idea Jess. They have lycra type material as the side panels which makes them uber stretchy to pull up and down. Would love to see the results if you do make some!

They stopped making the yoyo?! I had one which worked really well - Jaden was 5 at the time - but I'm pretty sure I gave it to my friend for her autistic son. But I am moving in a couple of weeks so I'll pm you if I find it @bugglyboo
