I got a bundle of nappies from ebay this week and there were 8 XS motherease sandys in it. (i bought the bundle for the 5 pastel colour kissaluvs )

Thing is the ME are a bit grey and i'm wondering whether i could dye them a funky colour with dylon???

Anyone done something similar? I will post a pic of them when they are out of wash, maybe greyness is my imagination but dyeing could be a fun 'waiting for baby to arrive' task for after easter

I dyed a whole bundle of ME one size nappies that I got cheap. Some were badly stained but once dyed they were fine. It cheered up the nappy shelves as well. I also checked in some muslins so that I could tell our muslins from all the other white muslins at baby groups.

Cool, might pop out and get some dye today as i need to go to the hardware shop and pick up some hay for our guinea pigs

The hardware shop was closed
DD and i were looking forward to picking out a colour and now we have to wait til tomorrow... Booooooo!!

I have had a quick look online and i do like bahama blue... Although DD likes sunflower yellow and i am thinking it might be handy to hide all those breastfed poo stains

I love Bahama blue. That's what we did ours in. It's washed really well.

I'm so impatient... Couldnt wait til after easter ...bahama blue sandy's here we come

Woo hoo... 8 bahama blue nappies, really pleased with them

They need another couple of washes to see if dye runs but i will do that after our holiday
