Does anyone use cloth nappy washing powders made for cloth nappies or just normal washing powder ... If so could someone give me I idea on what is good to use please ... At the moment I use non bio Persil the liquid form but I don't really like liquid I much prefer powder x x
I have never used nappy washing powder. I used to use 1/2 a tab of Omo with Louis. I now use Bold 2 in 1 which is the only softner that can be used on nappies and I live in a hard water area so that suits us.
I've used tots bots and Eco Sprout and found that the "reccomended amount" just wasn't enough rendering it far far to expensive! Ive now used about 50ml of lidls own bio powder for about 9 months and not had any problems since. X
I'm led to believe that liquid detergent isn't as good for your machine as powder, as it leaves more of a build up.
Be one thing I know for certain is that your need to avoid conditioners as they end up leaving a coating on your nappies which limits their absorbancy.
Thanks all really helps me I'm may try bold 2in 1 to start as I like the fact that I can us the condtioner and it don't harm my nappies and I live in a medium to hard water area also .... I have been giving tots bots powder so I will use that all up then mover to bold 2in1 see how I get on . Xx thanks all for help xx
