Another thing to check is how well the nappy is absorbing. Take a clean dry one and pour a little water on where the wee would hit - does it soak straight in or does it sit on the surface of the fabric?

I much preferred fitteds and wraps TBH - brilliantly reliable!

Sorry I'm a bit if a newbie, what's MF? He is in tots bots easy fits and another similar but cheaper unbranded one,(which actually seems to work a bit better).

I'm getting more baffled by it all the more I look into it. Don't know whether to try a fitting with a wrap or preform or just panic and end up just using pampers again! Aaaahhhhhhhhh! X

Don't panic! We've all been there honestly.
MF is microfibre. As @ems101 said you could get a wrap to try over the top of the nappy you have to stop it leaking on to clothes. You can put your child in the next size up vest if you have any lined up.
I ve not tried putting extra boosters in an all in one, so have no idea if that would work.

We had a couple of Easy Fits with youngest daugther and she needed more absorbency that what was in - so added a hemp or bamboo insert - sometimes 2 bamboo. Can't remember the version of Easy Fit we had but it had a pocket to stuff in the (tongue-kind of attached) insert and we just added to the pocket

I would for sure go up a size in vest to give the extra room for the bigger cloth-bum or look for brands that are better shaped for clothbums like this type of vest that is cut better in the legs

Or a vest extender...


Really, we've all been in that place where the nappy world suddenly expands! You'll definitely get there, especially if you hang round here!!
