Bump's stash so far............... advice needed.

Ok. Now I am working on the theory that this baby will be big 9lb +. I tend to have huge chunky newborns that become skinny. So with this in mind I don't have anything XS small or size 0. Zac just didn't wear them and I'd rather spend money on nice medium things which I know will get lots of use (probably until potty training looking at Zac ) Is this a big mistake? I am slightly nervous about him coming out at 6lb something and having nothing to fit. What do you think?

What about some size 1 little lambs? They should see you through. I found them fab!

Perhaps maybe a few more size ones? like bamboozles or totsbots? or anything similar?
I have size 1 kissaluvs and they are about as absorbant as a flannel

Katie was just under 7lbs when she was born and I used diddy's from the start. If baby is smaller than expected you could probably use the tots and bambinex too folded down and nippa'ed so I wouldn't worry too much.

Sounds like a fab stash to me, though I was expecting Summer to be 9lb+ then she turned out to be 7lb 8, she's only just outgrown XS fuzzis, but the smalls fitted from about 2-3 weeks!

I can't stop raving about BG lately, but we fould the fab from birth, a great fit and surprisingly trim!

You've got a good stash for if bump turns out to be the size you expect. I think I'd wait and see - if baby does turn out to be small when born then you could order more smaller napppies then, it will only take a few days to get them.

Its hard this predicting size malarky isn't it. Zach was 6lb 8oz and I'm working on this size but who knows................

Like Ali said, you can always order some if baby is smaller than you expected, nice stash IMO. Maybe keep an eye on the classifieds for a bargain for more sized?

I only had 2 size 0 nappies and not that many size 1s for Ben, in fact I only had MEOS for Charlotte and she was only 7lbs 4oz and we got on absolutely fine. It was "nice" to have some small cute trim nappies for Ben but not a necessity iyswim - you can always fold over the front of things like Tots and Bambinex to make them smaller - and the Diddy Diapers are really good.

I agree with you about spending the money on really nice mediums rather than the smaller sizes. Ben was 7lbs 15oz and was in mediums within 3 months which sounds a long time but flew by.

If baby does turn out to be tiny and you need something else, you could always order a few - most places will deliver fast, or someone on here may be able to help out.
