WN for newborn?

I'd go with an SS too.

We used OS from about a month, and it wasn't too bulky, but wasn't great, I much pefer SSs, but the skull and cross bone embroidery is huge, and I'm not sure how it would look on a S SS!!

Looks like the SS seems the fave.
I haven't tried a NL and not sure what my friend is going to do nappy wise so a pocket might be a good option rather than dazzle her with fitteds and wraps.

Will hold off purchase until you have tried an OS on Grace, Steph oh newborn Guru!!

We tried the WNOS on Amber when she was 3 weeks and got a good fit but a better fit now (nearly 6wks) as she has bulked out a bit. The SS have to be my fav though, now we are getting along (no leaks!).

The OS would fit for longer but unlikely to fit very well initially, if at all.
The SS will fit earlier & are so cute in small size
Wrap - if she will be using some fitteds then this would be nice as could be worn more often.

Have you thought about a NL - the small one has snap down for cord & they are quite cute with some lovely fabrics.

If you think a pocket would be best I'd got for SS as she could use it early on
