allergic to pul?

Postby nikkib » Wed May 13, 2009 7:20 am

recently, every time I put jamie in a pul wrap he gets sore, red looking dry skin round the tops of his legs where the wrap touches. i've tried different wraps, and they all seem to do it!

so Jamie is just going to have to be in fitteds with wool from now on i think... has anyone else had this problem?

Some people have had problems with detergent build up in the leg bindings so stripping the wraps may help. You could also try wraps that have fleece leg cuffs such as lovebums if that doesn't solve the problem.

This used to happen to Gracie and strip washing has worked, need to do it regular though, infact the last time I soaked them in soda crystals for a couple of hours, don't know if you are meant to do this but it worked. x

We had this - the worst culprits were motherease wraps as detergent seemed to get trapped in the bindings...
Weenotions we had less problems with...
