cheap Thirsties

The Thirsties website always seems to have loads of seconds for sale with the Fab Fitteds only being GBP5.55. Its shipping within US only, but DH has family there so I could get it delivered to them and then ask them to ship it over to Aus.

Would you do this? I assume seconds should still be perfectly functional, pretty much like Itti seconds which sometimes only have misaligned snaps or stitching.

I think the quality of the seconds depends on individual companies, but it's very likely that it's just stitching that's a little bit messy, or something else that affects the look of the nappy, but not the actual function of it. I have a couple of nappies that were bought as seconds and they work perfectly. It's a good way to get them a bit cheaper!
