Successful 1st night in cloth

Nathan has been in cloth during the day for about 8 weeks with a few disposabler while we built up our stash!last night we tried cloth overnight for the 1st time.he slept in a s minki stuffed with a pd bamboo and 2 ep hemp inserts which were barely damp after 7 hours!during the day he out wees a pd and 1 ep in 2 and a half hours sometimes!

It's such a good feeling when you use cloth succesfully for the first time at night!

It depends on the baby, but I tend to go by a 6 hour rule - I stuff a night nappy as if I needed it to go for 6 hours during the day, and that's always plenty for 12 hours at night as Jasmine doesn't have any night feeds, so wees a lot less.

Good stuff, I have never had a leak with a minki at night...or any cloth nappy for that matter!

I was very excited about our first successful night. In fact last night was only our 2nd! Every time i seem to put him in cloth for bed he poos 10minutes later! I dont have many night nappies so it means he ends up in 'sposies.
