How much would you spend on a nappy?

Postby clothmama » Sun Mar 11, 2007 10:17 am

Just wondering what people would be prepared to fork out on a nappy?

I guess I'd pay up to about $40/£16 but it would have to be verrrrrrry good!!! Saying that I did order my BG from the usa so as not to have to pay £15!!!

I would pay up to about £16 for a nappy but why pay more when you can get it cheaper elsewhere???

I just keep reminding myself how much I would be spending weekly if we used dispicables!!!!

Here it would cost me around £10 a week in dispos unless I used cheapy ones but not that much less than that, so basically a nappy a week and I@m still ahead lol!!!

Lol Tory I have the same theory on nappies and wraps, I reckon I am saving the equivalent of a new one every week or two so I can justify new ones.

In reality I don't think I have saved any money yet. But if I have another baby I will (if only I can resist new tiny nappies!).

My problem is that if it is cute and people rave about it, then it doesn't matter how expensive it is (within reason - probably £16 like I voted is a max).

Are there any nappies that cost more than £16?

When I thought about it the most I have spent on one single nappy is £15 on a bumgenius, but if there was something soooooo cute that you couldn't resist I would probably spend more!!!

Well £12 is the most I've spent on a nappy so far and I thought that was expensive!!

Been put off trying BGs because of the price (and not cute enough designs LOL!) but may consider getting one when I get my bonus (depending on what I get of course!) - how sad :)

I haven't spent more than £15 on a nappy, or a PUL wrap. But I have spent more than that on wool longies, but then that isn't the same is it 'cos they double up as trousers? And they are soooo cute how can you resist?

Of course I have knitted my first wool soaker now so the next project is a pair of longies. So that will be cheaper :)
